John J. Curzi Jr., 86, of Bethlehem and Catasauqua, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of the late Judith Curzi who passed in 2007. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late John Sr. and Antoinette (DeSentis) Curzi. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Later he worked for many years at the former Western Union retiring in 1996. John was a parishioner of the former Our Lady of Pompeii of The Most Holy Rosary R. C. Church.

Survivors: John is survived by his daughter, Tina Curzi Meyer of Catasauqua; sons, John Curzi III (Doris) of Allentown, Jeffrey Curzi (Helen) of Allentown, Joseph Curzi of Bethlehem; stepson, Dennis Tretter of Bethlehem; stepdaughter, Anita McLaine of Whitehall, sisters, Mary Curzi, Genevieve Glancy; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by his wife, Judith, his former wife, Grace; brothers, Emilio, Archie, Marino, Robert, Donald Curzi and infants, John Jr. and Joseph Curzi

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, January 25th. from 10-11:00 A.M. followed by a prayer service at 11:00 A.M. all in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St. Bethlehem. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
