John J. Ellis, 78, of Bethlehem Township, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, July 26, 2021. He was the spouse and life partner of the late James Montone, with whom he shared 55 years and married 8 years until his passing in March. Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late John J. Sr. and Florence (Donnelly) Ellis. He was of the Catholic faith. John was a self employed Cosmetologist for over 50 years

Survivors: He is survived by his sister, Beverly Mowrey, brother, Ronald Ellis and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Gershner.

Services: Services are private. John will be laid to rest with Jim, in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Bucks County. Arrangements entrusted to JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem.
