Jose Edward Vega, 62, of Whitehall, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospice House. He was the beloved husband of Maribel (Santiago) Vega with whom he shared 28 years of marriage. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Francisco Vega and Mary (Colon) Gusevich. He attended Jersey City Community College and worked as a truck driver for several years. Later he worked as a courier for Health Network Laboratories - (HNL) until his illness. He was a member of Central Assembly of God in Bethlehem.

Survivors: In addition to his wife Maribel, he is also survived by his children Anthony J. Vega, Shawn M. Vega (wife, Vanessa), Andrew J. Vega; stepchildren, Diane Perez (Companion, Jesus Ramirez), Edward Perez and Cynthia Perez (companion, Josh Pieri); sister, Mildred Vega and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Vega.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, Jan. 25th from 12:00 to 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM all at Central Assembly of God, 1300 Eaton Ave., Bethlehem. Burial will be on Monday at 11:00 AM at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
