Jose G. Vilches, 75, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away peacefully at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Havana Cuba, he was the son of Raul Vilches and Olga Duarte. Jose was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sylvia Vilches, whom he missed dearly.

He will be lovingly remembered by his five children and stepchildren: Jonathan Vilches, Sylvia Tosado, Stephanie Cuevas-Roth, Reynaldo Cuevas, and Omar Gomez. Jose was also a proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren, each of whom brought him great joy and pride as well as a large extended family. He was known for his love of the New York Mets, dancing, his humor and cooking his famous beans. He was retired from Ungerer & Co. Jose's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.

Services: A private celebration of Jose's life will be held at a later date at the convenience of his family. Arrangements Entrusted to JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem.
