Joyce Kaimowitz was born in New York on Aug 14, 1935. Her mother Sydelle was a woman ahead of her time and supported Joyce and herself after a divorce which was very unusual in 1942. Joyce shared her mother's strength and spirit and uniqueness. She later changed her birthday to October 14 because she loved the fall. She was a talented painter and worked for Seventeen magazine when she was young. She met her husband David and fell madly in love and they married in 1961. She thought David was twenty-three when they met and trimmed a couple years off her own 26 years. She found out later he was actually thirty-one.They raised three children Robert, Larry and Nancy in Scotch Plains NJ. Their home was constantly full of family and friends and everyone was welcome.Joyce loved life, just ask anyone who was at a family celebration and joined her on the dance floor. Later in life she was very politically engaged, and an animal and nature lover. She is survived by her three children, two daughters-in law Kim and Andrea, and four grandchildren Ellie, Julia, Eli and Max.Services:  Will be later and at the convenience of her family.
