Kathryn P. Riola, 95, of Bethlehem, formerly of Allentown, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was the beloved wife of the late George L. Riola who passed in 1969. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Kondravy) Prokop.She was a parishioner of The Cathedral of St. Catherine of Siena in Allentown. Kathryn will be remembered by all who knew her by her warm, loving and unselfish nature and a smile that lit up the room. As a wife, mother , grandmother and friend she was loved as well as a person could hope for in this life and she returned that love ten fold.
Survivors: She is survived by her children, Larry Riola (Paula) of Myrtle Beach, George Riola of Allentown, Marianne Barbaz (John of Allentown; son-in-law,Hollis Leidich of Breinigsville; grandchildren, Nicole Baded-Zaman, Philip Riola and Gregory Riola; great grandsons, Liam and Logan Zaman. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Nanette Leidich; 5 sisters and 4 brothers.
Services: Services and burial are private. Arrangements are entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
