Larry M. Matthews, 87, of Palmer Twp., passed away on Sunday afternoon, December 1, 2024, in St. Luke's Hospital Anderson Campus after a brief illness. He was the cherished husband of Diane L. (Kunsman) Matthews with whom he shared over 26 years of marriage. Born in Plainfield Township, he was a son of the late Milford and Charlotte (Godshalk) Matthews. He was a graduate of Pen Argyl High School and was raised in the Methodist faith. Larry in his earlier years enjoyed Golfing, fishing hunting and bowling as well as time spent with his family.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Diane, he is survived by her children, Brian Ketchledge (Kristen), Andrea Young (Jason), grandchildren, Sierra Dittmar (Vincent), Colton Nesfedder, Kassy Nesfedder, Tyler Young (Caitlin), and Megan Young.

Services: At Larry's request there will be no formal funeral services. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
