Our sweet angel Laurel transitioned peacefully from this world to the next Tuesday afternoon, April 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She will be remembered for her ebullient personality, her love of family, her determination and optimism in the midst of unrelenting health issues and her love of animals. We were lucky and grateful to have her for 37 years. She spent many years working as a CNA, caring lovingly for the elderly, she also had her real estate license and started an event planning business.
Survivors: She is survived by her loving companion Tim Maher of Easton, her dog Hero, father and stepmother, James and Joan Finnen of Bethlehem, her mother and stepfather Jacqueline Schaffer and Paul Koenig of Allentown, her brother James Finnen, sister-in-law Elizabeth and nephew Christian of Northampton, her grandparents Jim and Bea Finnen of Easton, Kathy, Bruce and Erin Fackenthal, John and Maureen Finnen, sisters Armelle Rodriguez and Jessica Goss of Florida, as well as many other extended family.
Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Monday, Apr. 10th from 6-8:00 PM in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St. Bethlehem. Funeral Services will be private with burial in Altona Cemetery.
