Lillian "Scotty" Ottaviano, 82, of East Stroudsburg PA, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Country Meadows, in Bethlehem PA. She was the wife of the late Ascanio "Otto" Ottaviano, who died in 2008 after 45 years of marriage. Born in Harrisburg PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Eva (Johnson) Hagberg. She was a graduate of Syracuse University with an undergraduate degree in Interior Design and a master's degree in Textile Design. She taught Interior Design at Cazenovia College for over twenty years retiring as Professor Emeritus. She also worked as a self-employed Interior Designer for over thirty years participating in design projects such as the Apollo Project with General Electric, the Everson museum with I.M. Pei, for the offices of Dr. Max Sullivan, for Fay's Drug Company, 3M, the State University of New York SUNY, and Chase Bank. In her spare time, she was involved in charities such as Meals-on-Wheels, Girl Scouts of the United States of America, the Junior League. She was also a member of Rotary International. She volunteered at the Seattle Art Museum - the Vivarium, WA. She attended Roman Catholic and later the Lutheran Churches.
Survivors: She is survived by her children: Christina Ottaviano-Boury of Paris, France, Pamela Ottaviano Rhodes of Seattle, WA, Anthony Ottaviano of New York, NY; grandchildren: Eugenie Boury, Evrard Boury, Beatrice Boury, Alix Boury, Guilhem Boury, Fiona Rhodes, Olivia Rhodes, Sonia Rhodes, Ava Rhodes, Clara Rhodes, and Isabella Ottaviano.
Services: Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, October 16th at 10:30 A.M. in Shoop's Cemetery, 4332 Lexington St., Harrisburg, PA 17109, followed by a remembrance luncheon at 12:30 P.M. at Gabriella Italian Restaurant, 3907 Jonestown Rd.
