Livija Krastins,74, of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in LVH-Muhlenberg. Born in Riga, Latvia, she was a daughter of the late Konstantine and Eizenija Miske. She graduated from Miami University in Ohio in 1964, active in the XO sorority and worked as a Chemist for 25 years for Novartis Pharmaceuticals before retiring. She also volunteered for several years at LVH-Muhlenberg.

Survivors: She is survived by her daughter, Mara Krastins and fiance' Philip Palmer of Tucker, GA; son, Aleks Krastins and his wife Tiffany of Oxford, ME; sisters Maija Zuby of OH; Dagnija Scheer of MA; Valija Axelrod of MI; 4 grandchildren, Kristopher, Noah, Jonah and Nicholas.

Services: A memorial services, celebrating the life of Livija Krastins, will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St., Bethlehem. Condolences may be left at www.jamesfuneralhome.org
