Louise Keppel, 79, of Nazareth, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016, in the early hours of the morning in Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth, where she resided for several years. Born in Hokendauqua, she was a daughter of the late William and Esther (Cornwall) Vandergrift. She was a nurses aid at Gracedale for over 20 years retiring in 1982. Most important to her were her children and grandchildren. She was of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors: She is survived by her children, Karen Laudenslager and her husband Scott of Catasauqua; Michelle Moore and her husband Chad of Delaware; Dean Frey and his wife Ann of Bethlehem; sister Yvonne Riley of Treichlers; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons Joseph and Ronald Jr. and daughters, Susan ONeil and Maggie Smith. Also 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. All in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem. Louise will be laid to rest in St. John's (Mickley's) Cemetery, Whitehall.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
