Lydia M. Vega, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away on June 5, 2026 in the care of St. Luke's Hospice House and her loving family. Born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Cristino Vega and Primitiva Morales. She was a parishioner of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Survivors: She is survived by her beloved children, Maria Escalera (Jimmy Casiano), Angel Escalera, Victor Cedano (Nellisa); sisters Carmen Vega, Norma Villegas; 13 grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Carmelo Escalera in 2017.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem, followed by a prayer service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
