Margarita Cruz, 72, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at home surrounded by family.
She was the wife of Celestino Cruz. Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Secundino and Zorida (Medina) Diaz. She worked as a presser for many years at the former Jayo Neck Wear in Bethlehem and was a parishioner of Holy Infancy R. C. Church, Bethlehem.
She is survived by her children, Luis A. Cruz (Marivel Soto) of Allentown; Rosa Cruz (Rick Kaiser) of East Orange, NJ, Angel L. Cruz of Bethlehem, Jose L. Cruz of Bethlehem; brothers, Angel Diaz, Jose Diaz, Miguel Diaz, Alfonso Diaz, Daniel Diaz; sister, Ana Echevarria; 15 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Services: Viewing prayer service and burial will be Private due to the COVID-19 health restrictions. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
