Maria W. Ortiz, 81, of Gracedale Nursing Home, formerly of Easton, passed away in Easton Hospital on Thursday, February 4, 2016. Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Marcelo Vega and Nicolasa Ortiz. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors: She is survived by 4 children, including her son, Ernesto LeBron and his wife, Mary of Easton, and youngest daughter, Sandra Ruiz of Austin TX, who had been caring for Maria, since her move to this area and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son in 1967.

Services: A blessing service will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the James Funeral Home, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem, where viewing will be held from 10:15 - 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
