Obituary

Marilyn A. (Bergeron) Rougeux, 86, of Forks Township, PA and formerly of Liverpool, NY, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 in Country Meadows, where she lived since 2016. She was married to Thomas J. Rougeux for 47 years, who predeceased her.
Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Elise (Flanagan) Bergeron. She graduated St. Mary's High School in Niagara Falls Class of 1951. She enjoyed working at ATT as a telephone operator after high school and in retail at Chappell's Department Store. She was proud of living and contributing to the Bayberry Community for over 50 years.
Marilyn was involved with all the activities of her five children, a faithful parishioner of Christ the King Church and a 20 year volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. Creative, faithful, and fashionable she will be remembered through her bunny collection, her lime green Jell-O mold at Thanksgiving, her chocolate chip cookies, making magic happen at Christmas and birthdays, and encouraging curiosity.
Sincere and heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Marilyn while living in PA, Country Meadows of Forks Township, Millbrook Home Health Aides, and St. Luke's Hospice.
