Mary W. Palmer, 87, formerly of Nyack NY and Bethlehem PA, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Westminster Village, Allentown PA. She was the beloved wife of William A. Palmer with whom she would have shared 68 years of marriage in October. Born in Yonkers NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis V. and Helen (Rezetta) Waldron. She attended the Catherine Gibb's Secretarial School and worked for many years as an executive secretary for Ingersoll Rand, Becton-Dickinson, and the Salvation Army retiring about 1990. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem where she also volunteered as telephone receptionist. Mary loved to braid rugs and quilt in her free time. She also volunteered as a "Meals on Wheels" deliverer.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by her children, Jeffrey Palmer (Carol) of Holland MI, David Palmer (Mike) of Santa Rosa California, Craig Palmer (Rita) of Nyack NY, Carole Mesko (Paul) of Bethlehem PA, Scott Palmer (Marie) of Nyack NY; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family with burial of ashes later in Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack, NY. Arrangements are entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
