Mary K. Patterson, 90, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully, January 15th, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ralph E. Patterson, Jr. and daughter, Eve Louise Patterson. Born in Williamsport and raised in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Fitzpatrick) Knowles. Mary was a graduate of Seton Hall College and received her Master's degree from Lehigh University. She was employed as a guidance counselor for 10 years at Bethlehem Catholic H. S.. She then became a real estate agent after moving to Hershey, PA for 5 years until retiring to Pinehurst, NC, for the next 30 years. She enjoyed playing bridge, golfing and was an avid sports enthusiast, especially her Eagles and Serena Williams. But, her greatest talent was her knitting; creating numerous projects for family and friends. She was a former member of Ss. Simon & Jude Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Mary is survived by a son, William Patterson (Lori); daughters, Kristine Doherty (Daniel); Caroline Kuchinski (Kevin); Beth Patterson-Casilo; 7 grandchildren, Melissa, Patrick, Christopher, Vincent, Kevin, Scott, Nicholas and 5 great grandchildren.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, Jan. 26th from 10:00-11:00 A.M. followed by a Prayer Service at 11:00 A.M. all in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St., Bethlehem.
