Peter Husowitz, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the beloved husband of Lois Jean (Kresge) Husowitz with whom he would have shared 61 years of marriage on June 11th.

Born in Frackville area of Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Andrew Sr. and Stella Husowitz and stepson of the late Susan Husowitz. He served in the U. S. Army at the end of WWII and worked for many years at Bethlehem Steel, A&P Markets and Canteen Co at Mack Truck before retiring. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Bethlehem, where he served as head deacon for many years.

in addition to his wife Lois, he is also survived by a son, Alan D. Husowitz of Bethlehem, many nieces and nephews and 3 step-siblings, Cathy, Sonia and Paul. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters, Joihn, Andrew Jr., Nicholas, Stephen, Olga and Theresa.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday evening from 6-8:00 PM and Friday morning from 10:30-11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM all in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME 527 Center St., Bethlehem. Burial-Bethlehem Mem. Park.
