Peter S. Pollitt, Sr., 75, of Bushkill Twp., passed away suddenly and peacefully in his home on Friday, July 6, 2018. He was the husband of Carol Jean (Hartzler) Pollitt whom he shared 38 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Walter and Anne (Broyan) Pollitt. He attended Muhlenberg College and later was a self-employed carpenter for many years before retiring. Later he was a Currier for Silliker Labs in Allentown for many years.

Survivors: in addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his former wife, MaryAnn Bauer-Pollitt; children, Elizabeth Ernst (David) of Allentown; Debra Mitana (John) of Port Charlotte, FL; Patricia Laczo (Andrew) of Dallas, GA; Christine Pollitt of Coopersburg; Theresa Smith (Michael) of Emmaus; Peter S. Pollitt, Jr. (Dawn) of Whitehall; Shannon Hartranft (David) of Bushkill Twp.; 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Services: At Peter's request, there will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
