Obituary

Peter E. Tristan, 76, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully with his family at his side, on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. He was the beloved husband of Sandra Marie (Padilla) Tristan with whom he would have shared 51 years of marriage this July. Born in La Paz Bolivia, he was a son of the late Amilia Tristan. He worked in the machine shop for many years for Eastern Metals in Easton and later for at Victaulic in Easton and in Forks Twp. after the new plant was opened, before retiring in 2000.

Pete, loved sports and especially his favorite team the Philadelphia Eagles. He was also an avid soccer fan and played on soccer teams in Bolivia and in New York. It was playing soccer that he met the love of his life, Sandra, while playing soccer at Saucon Park. He was also a volunteer fire fighter in the early 1980's in Allentown and was a Union Rep for the Steel Workers Union earlier in his career. Most important to him was his family and the quality time spent he with them. He was an active and devout member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Sandra, he is survived by his children, son, Vincent "RUSTY" Tristan, daughter, Sonia Tristan (companion, William Morales); brothers, Roger, Carlos and Jamie Zambrana; grand daughters, Adriana Tristan and Marissa Morales. He was preceded in death also by a sister, Zulma Zambrana and brothers, Roberto Soliz, Gustavo Calderon and Jamie Calderon.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, June 30th from 10:00 to 12:00 Noon in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St. Bethlehem, followed by a Prayer Service at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Infancy Church, 312 E. 4th Street, Bethlehem PA 18015.
