Philip Reynold Nilsen, 77, of Albrightsville,Carbon County, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the beloved husband of Christine (Dickson) Nilsen, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Christian R. and Mildred (Johnson) Nilsen. He served in the U. S. Navy and worked in the Mortgage and banking industry for many years before retiring.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Christine, he is survived by sons, Michael C. Nilsen (Faith M. Feuerman) of Summit, NJ; Jon C. Nilsen of Albrightsville; Jeffrey S. Nilsen of Sarasota, FL; daughter, Jessica L. Nilsen (Paris Stachtiaris) of Southold, NY; brother, Allen Nilsen; sister, Elise Kurlowicz of Port Jefferson, NY; 2 grandchildren, Alexandra Nilsen Diaz (Michael Glowucki) and William A. Nilsen.

Services: Memorial Services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
