Phyllis E. Bothwell, 92, of Michigan and most recently of Bethlehem, passed away on June 21, 2020 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. She was a resident of Moravian Village, Bethlehem and was the wife of the late Walter J. Bothwell. Born in Detroit Michigan, she was a daughter of the late George Thomas and Vera (Brokenshire) Peachey. Phyllis, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in1950, Master's degree in English in1955, and her Teaching Certificate in 1969 all from the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences at WSU. She later received a Masters degree in Library Science in 1956 from the University of Michigan School of Information. She worked for over 20 years as a librarian in public schools in Michigan in addition to other positions she held prior. She was of the Presbyterian faith and locally attended services in the Moravian faith at Moravian Village.
She is survived by her son, Walter James Bothwell and his wife Dawn of Bethlehem; daughter, Lynn Katherine Koenig and her husband Harold of Farmington, MI; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Services: Service will be held later at the convenience of her family. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
