Obituary

Queen E. Robbins. 84 of Bethlehem, died September 25, 2015, in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, Pa.

Queen was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She was the wife of the late Robert Robbins Sr. and the daughter of the late George and Mary Darby. She was predeceased in death by a son, George Robbins.

Queen Robbins was well loved, a strong woman and a loving mother who stuck by her children through thick and thin. She was a mom or grand mother to many. In Queen days she loved to party with friends and family at the Elks in Bethlehem and loved going shopping, out to eat and the casino.

Queen also attended St. Paul's Baptist Church in Bethlehem, Pa.

Queen leaves to mourn her loving children: son, Robert Robbins Jr. of Bethlehem and daughter, Mary Valverde of Allentown; grandchildren, George Robbins Jr, Esther Fortson, Georgina Watts, Crystal Robbins, Robert Robbins, Jawaan Valverde; 11 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Services: A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem, where viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Online condolences may be left for family at www.jamesfuneralhome.org
