Raphael Holzinger passed away on Wed., March 16, 2016. Born and raised in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Kovacs Holzinger. Ray graduated from Liberty High School in 1962, Muhlenberg College in 1967, and was employed as Manager of Telecommunications for Bethlehem Steel before retiring in 1988. A very positive and compassionate individual, Ray will be greatly missed.

Survivors: Ray is survived by his wife Jean Jones Holzinger, and they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in August; daughter, Angela Hertzog and husband Scot of Catasauqua, grandson Nicholas, granddaughter Ashley Olivo and husband Dan of Australia; son Raphael J. Holzinger Jr. and wife Tanya of Inwood, West Virginia and granddaughters Shealyn, Sage and Talia; sisters Geraldine Holzinger of Bethlehem. Theresa Diehl of Allentown, Jean Somers of Ogunquit, Maine, and brother, James Holzinger of Bethlehem. Ray is predeceased by his sister, Mary Ann Fletcher.
