Richard J. Ezar, 75, of Bethlehem passed away on June 16, 2026 in Cedarbrook Nursing Home Fountain Hill.

He was the husband of the late Rona Lee (Engle) Ezar. They were married for 40 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Joseph G. and Grace A. (Benko) Ezar.

Richard was employed as a Janitor for Lehigh Valley Health Network Muhlenberg Campus for many years.

He was a former member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church - Bethlehem and St. John The Baptist Catholic Church - Allentown.

Survivors: He is survived by an aunt: Margaret Carnihan of Hanover Twp. He is also survived by many cousins.

Services: A Prayer Service will be held at James Funeral Home, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:30-11:00AM. The inurnment will follow his service at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
