Richard Joseph Walls, 96, of Allentown, formerly of Reading, Macungie and Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, in Phoebe Home – Allentown. He was the husband of the late Kathryn (Albright) Walls with whom he shared 64 years of marriage before her passing on June 30, 2014.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William and Theresa (Holzinger) Walls. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a degree in accounting, which led to a long career in accounting and finance before his retirement. He was a Charter member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem R.C. Church and was a past member of St. Thomas More R. C. Church in Allentown.

Survivors: He is survived by his children, Rev. Timothy Dutcher-Walls (wife, Patricia) of Vancouver, Karen Walls White (husband, George) of Bethlehem, Kevin Walls (companion, Debra Prior) of Littleton CO. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Walls (spouse, Jeffrey Jensen) of Littleton, CO. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He leaves behind his loving partner of eight years, Mrs. Mildred More, recently from Reading.
