Robert L. Boring, 93, of Bethlehem and Johnstown, passed away on June 25, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Ober) Boring with whom he shared 62 years of marriage before her passing in 2015. Born in Johnstown PA, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Marie (McGlough) Boring. He served in the U. S. Army and worked for Bethlehem Steel for over 30 years before retiring about 1986. He was a former member of Wesley Methodist Church, Bethlehem and also attended the First Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Dwinal ((Harry); son, Harry Boring (Wayne Vanderslice); brothers, Bruce Boring and Thomas Boring; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, and companion Judi Skelly. He was also preceded in death a brother, Ronald Boring and a sister, Cordelia Keller.

Services Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, July 7th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM all from the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St. Bethlehem. Burial- Bethlehem Memorial Park.
