Obituary

Robert D. Speicher, 80, of Lehigh Twp., entered eternal life on August 10, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Theresa R. Speicher with whom he shared 53 years of marriage. Born in Egypt, PA, he was the son of the late Harry N. and Marie A. (Ballas) Speicher. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1956, served in the U. S. Navy during the cold war and worked for Mack Truck Co. for 47 years retiring in 2003. He was an active member of St. Nicholas R. C. Church, (Berlinsville) Walnutport. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially summer vacations and camping in Sea Isle City and other shore points, golfing, feeding the birds in his yard and gardening. Life was something to be enjoyed and celebrated.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Theresa, are children, Robert J. Speicher (Regina) of New Tripoli; Christina M. Lincoln (Patrick) of Palmer; Thomas J. Speicher (Elizabeth) of Rieglesville ; Theresa H. Brougher (David) of Wilmington, DE; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Sunday, Aug. 19th from 6-8:00 P.M. in the James Funeral Home, 527 Center St., Bethlehem and on Monday Aug. 20th from 9-9:45 A.M. in St. Nicholas R. C. Church, Mountain View Drive at Oak Rd., Walnutport, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, North Catasauqua.
