Obituary

Robert L. Taetzsch, 84, of Bethlehem, PA, formerly of East Brunswick, NJ, passed away suddenly, Saturday evening, January 23, 2016, in his home. He was the former husband of Sandra (Zeitlin) Taetzsch. Born in Irvington, NJ, he was a son of the late William and Ella (Kroupa) Taetzsch. He was a graduate of Rutgers University and received an MS in Statistics and later attended New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he received a second MS in Engineering Management and where he was a member of the fencing team and was inducted into their hall of fame. He later began a career as a statistician for Johnson and Johnson where he worked for many years before retiring and moving to the Lehigh Valley. He was a past member of the Hungarian American Athletic Assoc. in New Brunswick and was a member of the Para-psychological Association where he was listed in Who's Who of Parapsychology. He also enjoyed nature and going for hikes in his spare time.

Survivors: In addition to his former wife, Sandra, he is survived by his sons, Eric Taetzsch and his wife Jennifer of Kingston NJ; Roy Taetzsch and his companion Jackie Jaravata of Princeton NJ; brothers, William Taetzsch and his wife Juanita of IL; Donald Taetzsch of CA; sisters, Lynne Taetzsch of NY; Laura Kirsner of FL and Mary Azerbegi and her husband Braum of CO.
