Rose Marie Koenig, 87, of Allentown, passed away on June 22, 2026, at Arden Courts, Allentown. She was the wife of the late John Koenig Sr. who passed in 2014. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late James and Emma (Bonstungel) Haklar and stepdaughter of the late Ethel (Zack) Haklar. She was raised in the Catholic faith and worked as a floor supervisor at Phoenix Clothing for several years before retiring.

Survivors: She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Frederick (Douglas); son, John Koenig Jr. (Sharon); siblings, James Haklar, Barbara Mokrio, Mary Kistler, Helen Saeger, Catherine Pagan, Elizabeth Leedner, John Haklar, Steven Haklar, Dolores Fassel, Eleanor Andrews; 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joanne Miller in 2011 and siblings, Patricia Stine, Ethel Snyder, Margaret Jacobs and Joseph Haklar.
