Sandra "Sue" Jean Nye, 79, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, after a brief illness, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.  Born in Lebanon PA, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Dorothy Mae (Miller) Trumpeter.  She was a graduate of Northampton Community College in Bethlehem and worked for many years for SCT as a computer tech at Northampton County; last working at Gracedale Nursing Home before retiring. Sandra enjoyed traveling and going to local entertainment events, plays and performances especially at State Theater and Muhlenberg College as wells as other venues in the area.Survivors:  She is  survived by her daughter, Keely Nye of Aberdeen MD; sisters, Barbara Brandt and Donna Weidman both of Sewickley PA and many friends.Services: Services are at the convenience of the family.  Arrangement entrusted to JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem.
