Selina H. Downey, 83, of Whitehall, passed away on Oct. 5, 2022. Born in Wilkes Barre, she was a daughter of the late Zigmund and Helen (Klimovitch) May. She worked for many years as a Caseworker for Lehigh County DPW retiring about 2002. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth's R. C. Church and also helped in the Preschool Extended Care program there.

Survivors: She is survived by her children, Ellen Knoblach of Schnecksville, Robert Downey (Elizabeth) of State College, Kathy Rangel (Jorge) of Coral Springs FL, James Downey (Ginny) of Bethlehem; brother, Thomas May (Cathy) of Allentown; sister, Patricia Shupp of Rochester NY; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was being Grammy.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, Oct. 14th from 10:00-11:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. all at Queenship of Mary R.C. Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Burial - St. Mary's Cemetery, Wilkes Barre. Arr. by JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem.
