Sobhy Habib Habashy, 97, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, February 7, 2024 at Bethlehem North Nursing Home, Bethlehem. He was the beloved husband of the late Samira Youssef with whom he shared 61 years of marriage before her passing in 2011. Born in Al Minya, Cairo Egypt, he was a son of the late Habib and Babia Habashy. He was a banking manager for over 30 years at the National Bank of Egypt in Ciaro until retiring. He was a Christian and attended the Church of the Brethren.

Survivors: he is survived by his sons, Bassen Habib, Assam, Habib, Bahaa Habib; daughters, Safaa Habib, Wafaa Habib; 4 brothers, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services:Family and friends are invited to his funeral service on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM in the James Funeral Home, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Memorial Park.
