Stephen R. Donchez Sr., 83, of Hanover Twp. passed away on January 19, 2023 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.He was the beloved husband of Theresa (ODonnell) Donchez with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late George and Agnes (Keretz) Donchez. He attended Bethlehem Catholic and graduated from Bethlehem Vo-Tech. Steve served our country in the U. S. Army during Vietnam and was a fireman for the city of Bethlehem for many years after which, he worked for J. G. Sharkan Supply many years until retiring in 2008. He was a former member of St. Joseph's Windish R.C. Church and current Parishioner of Holy Infancy R. C. Church.

Survivors: In addition to his wife Theresa, he is survived by his sons, Stephen R. Donchez Jr. of Catasauqua, Patrick F. Donchez of Catasauqua; brother, Francis "Frank" Donchez of Neffs; sister, Helen Halleman of Bethlehem, 3 grandsons Stephen, Kevin and Ryan. He was also preceded in death by twin daughters, Janice and Carol; brothers, George and James Donchez; sister, Anna Knecht and 1 grandson, David.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023 from 6-8:00 PM in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St. Bethlehem and on Wednesday morning Jan. 25, 2023 from 9:15 to 9:45 AM in Holy Infancy R. C. Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 AM. Burial - Holy Saviour Cemetery.
