Stephen Dorff, 67, of Hellertown, passed away suddenly in his home on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John J. and Mary (Craig) Dorff. Raised in the Catholic faith, he was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School in the Olney section of Philadelphia.
Generous of spirit and kind hearted, Stephen worked in service to others as a restaurant worker, resident advisor at Barc Developmental Services and in loving support of his closest brother David. A gifted visual artist and musician, Stephen played bass guitar, loved astronomy and birdwatching and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Stephen is survived by his brothers John J. Dorff, Daniel J. Dorff, Charles J. Dorff, Joseph B. Dorff and David J. Dorff, his sisters Johanna Anderson, Kathleen Herndon, Miriam Dorff and Raissa Dorff and his 17 nieces and nephews.
