Stephen George Makos, Jr., 70, of Bethlehem, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital - Fountain Hill.   Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Stephen G. Sr. and Nancy (Bauder) Makos.  He was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School - Class of 1973 and attended Northampton Community College.  He last worked for several years as a concierge scheduler at St. Luke's Hospital before retiring in 2020. Stephen was a former member of St. Joseph's Windish Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Survivors:  He is survived by his brothers, Roger A. Makos, and Gerald Makos as well as many friends.

Services:  Services will be private and at the convenience of his family.   Arrangements are entrusted to JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem.
