Obituary

Stephen Charles Rehrig, 67, of Allentown formerly of Bethlehem and Orangeville PA, passed away on August 9, 2020 in St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown after a brief illness. Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late Earl and Eleanor (Fritchman) Rehrig. He served honorably in the U. S. Marine Corp in Vietnam, where he became disabled. He was a crane operator for several years at the salvage yards on Sumner Avenue in Allentown, as well as other various labor jobs. He resided at Orangeville Assisted Living a veteran's home in Orangeville PA until returning to live in Allentown recently. He was of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors: He is survived by his brothers, Donald A. Rehrig (Susan), Earl Rehrig (Marlene "Bonnie"), Fred Scharadin; sister, Jean Childs (James), sister-in-law, Judy Rehrig and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death also by a brother, Robert Rehrig and sister, Barbara Everitt.

Services: Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Stephen will be laid to rest in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Anneville, PA. Arrangements are entrusted to JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem.
