Virgil Moore Sr., 89, of Southampton, New Jersey, passed away in Brakeley Nursing Home, Phillipsburg, New Jersey on February 13, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Ellison) Moore of Bethlehem Twp. They were married for over 60 years. Born in Macon, Ga., he was a son of the late Peggy Moore. He worked for Sun Shipyards for over 25 years before retiring in 1981.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Elizabeth, are children, Virgil Moore Jr. and his wife, Sherisce, of Voorhees, NJ; Thomas G. Ireland, Sr. and his wife, Bessie, of Elizabethtown, NC; Annette Moore of Philadelphia, Pa.; and Irene J. Ireland of Bethlehem Twp. Pa.; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, Jeannette Moore; sons, Edward Moore and Kevin Ireland and sister, Grace Moore.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 10-11:00 A.M. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. all from Shiloh Baptist Church, 201 Brother Thomas Bright Ave., Easton PA 18042.
