Yolanda Varela, 74, of Bath, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Thursday, May, 1, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Carlos Varela with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. Born in Tegucigalpa Honduras, she was a daughter of the late Miguel Barahona and Josefa Rodriguez. She was a member of Alpha & Omega Church in Phillipsburg NJ.

Survivors: in addition to her husband Carlos, she is survived by her children, Carlos Varela and his wife Gina, Carla Buezo and her husband Rudy, Jonathan Varela, Bayron Varela, Karol Ferraro and her husband Philip, Karen Varela; several brothers and sisters, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday evening, May 8, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 PM and on Friday morning from 10:30-11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM all in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St. Bethlehem.
