Obituary for Isidore E. Varoumas

Isidore E.  Varoumas
Isidore E. Varoumas, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Argero (Tsihlis) Varoumas. Born in Vrondothos Greece, he was the son of the late Emmanuel J. and Maria (Baxhas) Varoumas. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and later worked as a Chef and own restaurants for several years till retiring in 1997. He was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Bethlehem.

Survivors: He is survived by his sons, Emmanuel I. Varoumas; George I. Varoumas both of Kutztown; a sister Nitsa Mathioudis of Greece and 6 grandchildren, Argero B Varoumas (Fiance' Todd Krauss); Eleni A. Varoumas; Ellie M. Varoumas; Liberty M. Varoumas; Megan A. Varoumas and Isidore G. Varamous.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday Oct. 3rd, from 10-11 A.M. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. all in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1607 W. Union Blvd. Bethlehem. Trisagion service will take place at burial in Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Arr. by JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem. Condolences may be left at www.jamesfuneralhome.org
