Gary D. Bankston, 43, of New Tripoli, passed away suddenly on Friday, Sep. 24, 2021. He graduated from Penn State in 2006 and later received an MBA from Kutztown Univ. in 2013 and an MSc in Strategic Analytics from Brandeis Univ in 2017. He was employed as a Senior Business Analyst for Olympus in Center Valley for many years. Gary was an Active Volunteer with the Order of the Arrow in the Boy Scouts of America - Minsi Trail Council. He also volunteered at the 6th Street Shelter in Allentown from 2015 to the present and was a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem. It was Gary's request to keep his obituary simple and for people to honor his memory in their own way. He is survived by his family and very dear friends Sarah Durrenberger and Terry Stopp and many other friends.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021at 3:00 P.M. in New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6804 Weiss Rd., New Tripoli. Masks will be required in the Church. Refreshments will be served following the service, where friends may also greet the family. Arrangements by JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem.
