Robert John Hamrick, 86, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on April 25, 2022, in Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the beloved husband of Beverly J. (Hess) Kline Hamrick with whom he shared 35 years of marriage. Prior he was the husband of the late Jean (Scharle) Hamrick who passed in 1985. Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Geleta) Hamrick. He graduated from Central Catholic H.S. in 1953 where he was a state basketball champion. He worked for many years as a computer operator in the payroll dept. of Bethlehem Steel retiring in 1985 and later, worked for the State LCB for 15 years retiring in 2002. Robert, was a parishioner of the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Siena in Allentown and a former parishioner of Notre Dame of Bethlehem R. C. Parish.

Survivors: In addition to his wife Beverly, he is survived by his children, Bob Hamrick (Cheryl), Joe Hamrick (Sherry), Jim Hamrick (Victoria), Kathy Bassett (Gregory); stepchildren, Kimberly Kline, Christopher Kline (Michele), Kelly Haas (Keith); brother, John Hamrick (Grayce); sister, Georgine Handel; and 15 grandchildren.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, May 2nd, from 9:30 -10:55 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Notre Dame of Bethlehem R. C. Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem. Burial-Holy Saviour Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem. More info at www.jamesfuneralhome.org.
