Condolences

Condolence From: Wilson and Donna Yale
Condolence: To Gwyn, John, Jean Marie and your families:
Jim was a dedicated teacher, an inspirational mentor and loyal friend to us and so many in the Lehigh community. Not only was he a phenomenal instructor in the classroom, but he was focused upon improving the educational facilities at Lehigh to support his efforts, which culminated in his creation of the Financial Services Laboratory. He was also an instrumental catalyst in extending and promoting new ideas in the finance department and throughout the Lehigh community, such as the creation of the interdisciplinary MS in Analytical Science degree between the Finance, Mathematics, and Industrial and Systems Engineering Departments. His work didn't stop when we and many of his students graduated, but he continued to help many gain employment with Wall Street and many other firms. We will all miss those educational conversations about the real business world over a couple of beers during his "free" time. He loved his family, his students, his friends and Lehigh for which we are all better for his influence. - Wilson and Donna

Condolence: I've known Jim for over 40 years--dating back to my time as a student in his finance courses in the early 70"s. He was always one of the best!! I was delighted when he became a regular at our pregame tailgates. We chatted about "the old days" through years of football seasons---chats I much enjoyed! I will miss Jim, and wish his family much strength as they cope with this loss.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Professor Greenleaf. He taught Investments my junior year (1986-87) at Lehigh. His course was the most interesting, challenging and rewarding, and one reason I pursued a career in securities analysis. Professor Greenleaf had a colorful presence, able to hold your interest and always willing to sit down and discuss finance with students anytime, anywhere. I remember the fun we had in study groups for Investments. Professor Greenleaf will be fondly remembered and missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.

Condolence: I am sorry to learn of the passing of professor Greenleaf. Not only did I have the pleasure of attending his classes as both an undergraduate and as an mba student, I enjoyed staying in contact with him as I started my career at Bethlehem steel and later at PPL. I also enjoyed several rounds of golf with the one handed putter at his beloved saucon valley country club. I even had the pleasure of golfing with his son once. Professor Greenleaf was a great embassador and role model to his Lehigh students. He will be missed. Please accept my condolences for your loss.

Condolence: Dear John and Jean Marie,

I babysat for you when you were little and remember all four of you quite fondly. I am so sorry to hear the news about your dad. That's just awful. My condolences to you.
